Summa has released their updated thermal transfer printer and cutter. The DC5 is the widest model available and at 137cm, has the ability to produce materials four times as wide as the next largest model.

This new thermal printer offers significant advantages, increasing productivity and efficiency levels. Prints can now be used straight away and there is no need to allow time to laminate the graphics or for them to dry. This cuts down significantly on the production timings and means that companies can cater for more orders than before.

The prints that are produced are extremely durable. As an exterior sign, without lamination, they could last for around five years. The machine makes light work of any cutting requirements and simply glides straight through the product. This provides the thermal printer and cutter with the ability to produce graphics in a variety of shapes, depending on the requirements of the customer.

Thermal printing is environmentally friendly. It produces no chemical wastage and there are no exhausts or fumes that pose a risk to health.
